Sunday in Fountain Hills

Sunday afternoon we took the dogs to the park in Fountain Hills.

The 330 ft fountain located in the middle of Fountain Hills.

The kids circled the park on their scooters.

Maisy was also there.

The kids played with some friends.

Easter Camping Trip in Oak Creek Canyon

We spent a long Easter weekend up north in Oak Creek Canyon (between Sedona and Flagstaff). We were joined by the Foster family at an adjoining campsite. A link to our photos is attached below.

Weekend Stuff

Marley (front row, far right) was in the school play Friday afternoon.

 

Saturday morning we attended a children's event at the Scottsdale Civic Center.

 

 

Marley was placed under arrest.

 

 

Saturday afternoon at the Diamondbacks vs. Cubs game.

 

Sunday the kids officially kicked off pool season.

 

Marley made the first jump of the year.

Maisy The Dog

Our new dog, Maisy, came home on Tuesday and she has kept us very busy. We are guessing she is approximately 3 months old and like a baby, she eats and poops a lot.

 

South Mountain

Sunday we took a hike along South Mountain outside of Phoenix.

The Newest Member of the Smith Family Zoo

 

Saturday we adopted a dog from a local rescue group. She is a 9-week old flat-coated retriever and Australian shepherd mix. Her mom was found along with a litter of puppies in the desert outside of Ajo, AZ, which is located about 40 minutes north of the US-Mexico border. She will not officially come home for a few days. She is scheduled for a vet visit first on Tuesday. Perhaps then we will have all decided on a name. Grayson's suggestions included, "Mustache Head".
