The little people beat the heat on Sunday by going to the park early in the morning before the temperature hit triple digits.

KEEPING COOL IN THE POOL

Although it's only late April, according to Marley it is already time to get into the pool. Grayson on the other hand preferred to sit poolside and work on his tan.

More Springtime Happenings Around Town

This past week included a "Garden Party" at preschool, a school field trip downtown and some water sports in the backyard.

Marley & the Pima Elementary School kindergarten class went on a field trip.

Marley & her friend Ava enjoyed their first bus ride.

We arrived at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix.

Marley gave this guy a lobotomy.

Then she did some electrical work.

Next she showed off her plumbing skills.

By weeks end it was 100+ degrees, so the kids kept cool out back while washing their playhouse.

Marley tries to figure out a way to climb on to the rooftop, while an emaciated Grayson sprays soapy water.

After the kids dry off they put on their cheerleader costumes and relax with a snack.

Random Springtime Fun in Arizona

Although the blog updates have been limited lately the activity has not slowed down. The kids have been busy as usual....

Marley's Tooth

Marley lost her first tooth this week. She was happy to receive a vi$it from the Tooth Fairy.

In other excitement around the house this week, little brother Grayson peed in the cat's litter box last night. The cats could not be reached for comment.

Pima Elementary Spring Carnival 2012

This Saturday was the Spring Carnival at Pima Elementary School.

Marley arrives at the scheduled date and time.

The ladies stop to say hello to the  Pima Panther aka Mr. Whiskers.

They crammed about 50 kids in the spinning strawberry. Nobody was injured and nobody threw up.

The Scottsdale Fire Department showed up and used their water canon to soak everyone.

Marley got a shower...

...But she did not seem to mind.

Field Day 2012 - Pima Elementary School

Thursday was Field Day at Marley's school.

The participants take their positions on the starting line....

And they are off.

Saturday we stopped by a gathering at the park where Marley picked up some new teeth.
