Random Springtime Fun in Arizona

Although the blog updates have been limited lately the activity has not slowed down. The kids have been busy as usual....

While driving the forklift the kids came across some desert wildlife: a baby lizard.

Marley's Tooth

Marley lost her first tooth this week. She was happy to receive a vi$it from the Tooth Fairy.

In other excitement around the house this week, little brother Grayson peed in the cat's litter box last night. The cats could not be reached for comment.

Pima Elementary Spring Carnival 2012

This Saturday was the Spring Carnival at Pima Elementary School.

Marley arrives at the scheduled date and time.

The ladies stop to say hello to the  Pima Panther aka Mr. Whiskers.

They crammed about 50 kids in the spinning strawberry. Nobody was injured and nobody threw up.

The Scottsdale Fire Department showed up and used their water canon to soak everyone.

Marley got a shower...

...But she did not seem to mind.

Field Day 2012 - Pima Elementary School

Thursday was Field Day at Marley's school.

The participants take their positions on the starting line....

And they are off.

Marley switches sacks and gets airborne.

Saturday we stopped by a gathering at the park where Marley picked up some new teeth.

World Wildlife Zoo & Aquarium

This Sunday we celebrated Mom's birthday at the World Wildlife Zoo & Aquarium located in Litchfield Park, AZ. In addition to seeing and feeding the animals, we went on a boat ride, train ride and "sky ride" over the facility.

Parada Del Sol 2012

Saturday was the annual Parada Del Sol in Scottsdale. It was sunny and 80 degrees. The kids enjoyed the sites, their friends and time in the water.

The gang is ready to have a good time.

Tuesday will be Arizona's 100th year as a state.
